My Experience
I bring over 20 years of experience working with families, children, and diverse communities in both educational and clinical settings. I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Akron, where I specialized in relational systems and integrative therapeutic approaches. My background also includes experience in community mental health clinics, where I led stress management and postpartum support groups, as well as worked with multicultural populations.
Before entering the counseling field, I spent years supporting children and families through education, including gifted and elite athlete programs. These experiences deepened my understanding of human development and the unique pressures families face. My therapeutic work now focuses on improving communication, repairing relationships, and fostering emotional connection. I use modalities such as EFT, CBT, Gottman, Imago, and play and art therapy to meet clients where they are—helping families strengthen bonds, children express themselves safely, and couples rebuild intimacy and trust.

My Core Values
My Story
I love supporting couples as they strengthen communication and rebuild closeness, families as they navigate transitions, and children as they discover their voices through play and creativity.
My journey into therapy was inspired by a lifelong dedication to helping families connect, communicate, and heal. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over two decades working with children and families in education and developmental support roles, witnessing firsthand how relational patterns and systemic stressors shape emotional health. My work in community mental health further expanded my understanding of human resilience and the power of safe, supportive relationships.
I became a therapist to create spaces where people can be real, vulnerable, and understood. I love supporting couples as they strengthen communication and rebuild closeness, families as they navigate transitions, and children as they discover their voices through play and creativity. My approach blends structure with warmth, curiosity with humor, and evidence-based tools with authentic human connection.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family, and exploring creative hobbies that nurture my own sense of balance and joy. My goal—both personally and professionally—is to help others experience relationships that feel safe, honest, and deeply fulfilling.
