My Experience
I completed my M.A. in Counseling and Human Development, with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, at Walsh University in 2024. Since then, I have worked in a private practice setting providing outpatient mental health services. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with people who are trying to find their way through experiences that can feel heavy, confusing, or isolating. Many of the people I sit with are carrying anxiety, grief, overwhelm, patterns that feel hard to break, or the quiet exhaustion of trying to hold everything together for too long. Others are in seasons of transition and trying to understand who they are, how they got here, and what comes next. What they often share in common is not a diagnosis, but a feeling: of carrying things alone for too long, wishing they felt more understood, and quietly wondering if they are too much or not enough. At the same time, they are trying to find their way back to themselves and live in a way that feels more aligned and genuine.

My Approach
My work is grounded in the belief that healing occurs within a genuine, empathic, and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship, as emphasized in Person Centered Therapy. I believe people have an innate capacity for growth and self-actualization when they are met with the right conditions. In my work, I strive to offer unconditional positive regard, empathic understanding, and authenticity, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop self-awareness, and move toward greater well-being. I deeply respect each person’s experience, autonomy, values, strengths, and capacity for change, and I hold the belief that clients are the experts of their own lived experience.
I draw from CBT, DBT, IFS, and somatic-informed approaches. I experience therapy as being fully present with someone while we sort through their inner world. Together, we slow things down, support nervous system regulation, and make space for what has been carried silently so we can begin to gently make sense of it all.
I aim to offer a space where nothing has to be performed, fixed, or hidden. Just a place where someone can be met with honesty, care, and curiosity and begin to reconnect with parts of themselves they may have lost, hidden, or rejected along the way.
“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don’t find myself saying, ‘Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner.’ I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.” - Carl Rogers

My Core Values
My Story
I am committed to making a meaningful positive
impact in the lives of others
One of my core values is contribution, and I am committed to making a meaningful positive impact in the lives of others. Supporting people through therapy is one of the most significant ways I live this value.
From a young age, I was deeply moved by the suffering of others and felt a strong and enduring desire to help ease people’s pain. That early sense of care and responsibility has continued to guide my personal and professional journey. What I value most deeply in this work is the human connection it makes possible. I hold great respect for the trust it takes to share one’s inner world, and I do not take lightly the responsibility of being present with another person in that way. To be fully present, to listen without agenda, and to offer genuine empathy and validation is, to me, one of the most meaningful forms of connection.
One of the greatest honors of this work is witnessing moments of hope emerge, seeing someone begin to see a different future for themselves, or recognizing their own strength in places where there was once only pain. It is especially meaningful to witness how wounds, over time, can become sources of insight, resilience, purpose and meaningful change. To hold space for another person in this way, and to accompany them as they move through suffering toward a life that feels more intentional and aligned, remains one of the deepest privileges and greatest rewards of my work—not only as a therapist, but as a human being.
