My Core Values
My Story
I hope clients leave sessions feeling seen for their strengths and reminded of their self-worth. Witnessing breakthroughs and moments of insight is one of the greatest joys of this work.
I was inspired to pursue a career in counseling through early experiences working with individuals at Akron Rotary Camp. This sparked my passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges and recognize their own resilience and abilities. I became a therapist because I realized my compassion was best expressed in the mental health field, where I could support others in meaningful, lasting ways. I hope clients leave sessions feeling seen for their strengths and reminded of their self-worth. Beyond the individual, I aim to foster a ripple effect where clients feel strong, valued, and supported. Witnessing breakthroughs and moments of insight is one of the greatest joys of this work.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and our dog Hank, and exploring nature through walks, hikes, and time in the Metroparks. I’m a proud four-time half marathoner and love running for fun. Outdoor activities, coffee, and good podcasts help me stay grounded—the same centered energy I bring into my sessions.
