  • My Experience

I earned my Master’s Degree from Youngstown State University in 2024 and have been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice since that time.

Prior to this, I worked in community mental health, where I specialized in substance use, anger management, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety, providing both individual and group therapy. I have also worked at Youngstown State University within the Athletic Department, supporting student-athletes academically, mentally, and emotionally. In addition, I spent time at the Veterans Center on YSU’s campus, offering similar academic and emotional support to student veterans.

  • My Approach

“It’s not about changing who you are; it’s about learning how to move through the world as yourself.”

Rooted in the humanistic belief of your inherent worth and potential, I provide Person-Centered Therapy that emphasizes a safe, nonjudgmental, and empathetic space to explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. I truly believe in fostering conditions of empathy and genuineness with unconditional positivity. I will aim to facilitate your self-discovery and self-acceptance, empowering you to better understand and navigate the world. As the quote states, adapting isn’t about pretending or becoming someone else. It’s about facing your truth, owning your story, and figuring out how to keep going without losing yourself in the process.

My Core Values

My Story

What I value most about being a counselor is the opportunity to walk alongside individuals during some of their toughest battles and witness their growth, resilience, and success.

I was drawn to this work by a deep desire to help others and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. What I value most about being a counselor is the opportunity to walk alongside individuals during some of their toughest battles and witness their growth, resilience, and success.

Throughout my experience, I have learned that every client is unique, bringing their own strengths, challenges, and perspectives. Many times, I find that I learn from my clients as well, which is why I believe it is essential to approach each session with an open mind, empathy, and respect.

My purpose in this work is rooted in giving back to the community and providing support to those who may feel they have no one else to turn to.

Outside of my professional role, I enjoy reading, spending time with my dog, working out, exploring local restaurants, and staying active in the volleyball community by both playing and coaching.
