SHAMANIC JOURNEYING
Shamanic Journeying is an ancient spiritual practice, believed to be over 100,000 years old, that transcends ordinary reality. By entering an altered state of consciousness, individuals connect with spirit realms to gain insight, receive healing, and seek guidance. Once practiced by all our ancestors, shamanism holds deep cultural significance, bridging us to the wisdom of the past while offering transformative potential for the present. Shamanism is not a religion; it is a way of being and a way of connecting with everything around us.
Through intention setting, sacred ritual, and rhythmic drumming, you’re invited to connect with spirit allies, explore underlying emotional patterns, and receive guidance beyond cognition. With soft ceremony, grounding support, and trauma-aware facilitation, this experience offers a relational container for transformation and insight.

Often 1 and a half–2 hours: includes ritual, journeying, and integration time with space for reflection and processing.
-
You’ll begin seated or lying comfortably as the facilitator sets intention and ritual space. Rhythmic drumming and gentle guidance help you enter a trance-like state. During the journey, you may see imagery, sense guidance, or connect with a spirit ally—while being fully supported. Afterward, you’ll have time to write, share, or integrate what unfolded.
-
Experiences are personal and varied: emotional release, visions, intuitive insights, physical shifts, or deep calm. Some feel energized, others may feel relaxed or reflective. Post-journey may bring profound clarity or stay subtle—integration unfolds in your own time.

This work is generally safe for most adults who are ready to explore deep, somatic-spiritual healing. If you have psychiatric conditions, trauma history, or medical issues, we’ll discuss whether shamanic journeying or another modality is most appropriate.

While Shamanic Journeying sometimes utilizes the spirit of plant medicine to aide in accessing the non-ordinary realms, I do not use or offer psycho-active plant medicine for shamanic journeys.
