  • My Experience

My path to becoming a therapist has been anything but linear, weaving together experiences in art, education, and human connection. I hold an Educational Specialist degree (Ed.S.) in Counseling from Kent State University, a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Mental Health and Behavioral Consultation from Cleveland State University. I also earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Fine Art from Ohio University.

Before joining Pathways in 2019, I worked in a large community agency supporting children, families, and schools across Northeast Ohio. There, I discovered how profoundly relationships and environments shape emotional well-being and development. These experiences inspired me to integrate holistic, trauma-informed, and attachment-based perspectives into my work. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients of all ages through transitions, challenges, and healing—always with the goal of helping them strengthen their sense of safety, resilience, and self-trust.

My Story

It is a gift to walk beside others as they make sense of their past, envision their future, and move toward a life that feels aligned and whole.

My path to becoming a therapist has been anything but linear. Since I was a child, I felt a deep connection to emotion and experience but didn’t imagine this awareness could one day guide my work. After exploring careers in art and higher education, I found my true calling in the counseling profession—a space where creativity, compassion, and connection meet.

My early work at a large community agency allowed me to see how deeply our relationships and environments shape our emotional world. These insights fueled my passion for holistic, trauma-informed, and attachment-based work. Since joining Pathways in 2019, I’ve had the honor of supporting clients of all ages as they heal, grow, and reconnect with their inner resources. It is a gift to walk beside others as they make sense of their past, envision their future, and move toward a life that feels aligned and whole.

Outside of the therapy room, you’ll often find me in nature—hiking, gardening, traveling, or basking in the sun. On rainy days, I’m likely trying a new recipe or visiting one of Northeast Ohio’s many local restaurants. An adventurer at heart, I love exploring new experiences and finding beauty in everyday moments.
